I don't often run into this problem, even though I read about it many times in the forum. But I am working on a job where I have to add 450 chairs to a 3D model. This is when I can pinpoint when the problem starts. First adding the chairs, immediately increases the size of the file 10 fold. Now no matter how I try to render a view of the room I get the "luxology rendering engine failed". I have tried placing all the chairs in a separate reference file. I have tried publishing the file to i-model, which reduced the size of the file considerable, but still getting the error. I have tried rendering the view with "override existing light" setting on. etc. FYI, the chairs in question are smart solid cells that I created specifically for the project. Any help or suggestions on how I could reduce the size of the chairs would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
W. Marcus
